Tonight’s rehearsal will begin an hour later because of the weather.  All students should report to the band room at 5 pm.

The march-off originally scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

The band boosters are now able to accept online payments for some band expenses. We are starting with student account payments, uniform account payments, and theme shirt orders. Over time we may be able to accommodate online payments for additional services or items.

You can utilize all three of these online payment options from the Members Only page on our web site. The page section titled “Online Payments” provides links to begin each online payment process.

Student Account Payments – These payments are credited directly to your student account, which is used to pay for band trips and certain other band expenses.

Uniform Account Payments – If your student purchased any uniform items from the Uniform Committee, you can pay for them using this online payment process.

Order Marching Band Theme Shirts – You can order and pay for theme shirts using this process. Your order can be picked up at the Band Stand table, set up near the band room during the latter portion of practice on Thursdays.

We would like to start building an online archive of photos and videos of current and past band performances, people, and activities.  If you would like to submit electronic versions of photos or videos for inclusion in this archive, please email Scott Kronheim at webmaster@carlislehighschoolband.org to make arrangements to collect your contributions.  As the archive begins to take shape, we will publish more information about how to access it.

The time to order varsity jackets is quickly approaching:  Tuesday, 11 August, at 5:45 p.m.  Although students must at least be a sophomore to order one, the number of years in the band does not prevent them from wearing one proudly!

Our next band booster meeting will be held this Tuesday, August 11 at 6pm in the band area.  All are welcome!

There will also be informational folders and name tags for new parents, available at the band director’s parent meeting on Tuesday, August 18.  Board members will be there after the meeting to answer questions.

There are many upcoming opportunities for helping with concessions – our most profitable band fundraiser!

Finally, come out and help clean up the football concession stands at the stadium!  They will be August 15 and August 22 (only if needed).  Click here for more information and for links to signup.

Band camp is almost here!  The percussion and pit will start with a mini camp the week of August 3.  Everyone else will start band camp the following week, August 10-14 and August 17-21!  Click here for a printable band camp schedule.  The percussion mini camp is included on this printable schedule.  PLEASE NOTE that there are still full band rehearsals on Tuesdays from 6pm-9pm on 7/28 and 8/4.
