Fundraising Updates

Just a reminder that the Hoss’s Fundraiser is this Wednesday, January 16, 2019. You can eat anytime that day at the Hoss’s in Carlisle – just remember to bring the Hoss’s Flyer. Money earned will go towards replacing appliances at our car show concession stand. Without the money we earn at the car shows the boosters can’t support the band programs, so PLEASE help us earn money to keep our car show stand running by eating at Hoss’s on January 16th!

The upcoming student fundraiser is selling Butter Braid Frozen Pastries. Money earned from this fundraiser will go into the student account, which can be used for upcoming band or indoor trips. Brochures will be distributed at the indoor rehearsals on Thursday, January 17th. You can also get brochures from Mr. Mikesell on Friday, January 18th. If you need to make other arrangement to get your brochure, please email fundraising@carlislehighschoolband.org. Orders will be due on Thursday, January 31, 2019 and the delivery date is February 11, 2019 after school in the band room.

Concessions Committee Chair(s) Needed

The Concession Committee is looking for one or two volunteers to run the Fairgrounds concession stand, and one or two volunteers to run the Football Stadium concession stands. These volunteers would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the stands. They would make sure that inventory is ordered as needed and stock is rotated. These stands are the band booster’s main source of income for marching band, indoor guard, and indoor percussion. Keeping them running is vital to this organization. Interested persons should contact the former concession committee chair Hope Sale at concessions@carlislehighschoolband.org.

The concession committee would like to have a meeting with anyone interested in helping immediately after the February band booster meeting.
