URGENT HELP NEEDED: Please consider helping for one car show shift. I know this is a busy time of year for each of you, please find four hours to help make a difference in our music program. Remember the money raised through the concession is a primary source of fundraising to help support our band and music programs. We need everyone’s help to ensure that we can continue to provide instruments, transportation, uniforms, and all the necessities for our children’s music goals. The first marching band rehearsal of the year will be Tuesday, May 26 from 7pm – 9pm in the band room. Any student who is interested in participating in the marching band for the 2015-2016 school year should plan on attending this rehearsal WITH their instruments!  Please invite any student who may have expressed an interest in joining the marching band, to attend this rehearsal!  Click here for an information flyer! 

Any student who needs a school instrument for the marching band season should plan on arriving at the meeting between 6:15pm and 6:30pm, when instruments will be distributed.

 

The next car show is fast approaching!  Friday, May 15th-Sunday, May 17th is the Import and Kit Nationals Show.  Please remember this is the biggest fundraiser for our students and the band as a whole.  Without volunteers and a 100% staffed concession stand we cannot provide the necessary funds to support our students over the next year. Please consider signing up for 1 or 2 shifts. No experience necessary for most positions and you will get to know other band families. The Memorial Day Parade, on May 25, 2015, is just around the corner!  All alumni are invited to participate in the parade, along with our high school and middle school band students.

On Monday, May 4 at 7:00 PM, there will be a performance of the Indoor Guard and Indoor Percussion at Lamberton MS!  If you haven’t yet had a chance to watch their shows, come out to Friends and Family Night and support our winter indoor groups!

The Spring Band Concert is this Thursday, April 30, at 7:30 PM in the Barr Auditorium! Come out for a great evening of music and support our band students!

Congratulations to the indoor color guard on their second place win at chapters!  Way to go Carlisle, and best of luck next week at Wildwood!

We are in desperate need of help this week at the car show, for the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts!  If we do not have enough help, we will not be able to open the stands those days!
