Weekend Updates

Friday night is our first home game of the season. Students need to report by 4:30 PM to the band area. Because of the uncertain weather forecast students need to bring both their summer uniform as well as be prepared to wear the normal uniform.

Saturday practice is from 10 AM – 4 PM. Students need to bring a lunch.

Chaperones Wanted

School isn’t far off which means the band will soon be performing at football games, competitions, and parades! The band needs chaperones at all events, and signups are now available. You must have clearances on file with the school to be a chaperone. Click here for signups and clearance information.

It’s not too late to join the marching band! All marching band information can be found on the CHS Marching Band page. There are online forms to fill out, summer rehearsal schedules, and even a trailer for the upcoming marching band show.

Marching Band Reminders

Just a few reminders to parents and students:

Practice this week:
- Tuesday, June 26, for everyone from 6 PM – 9 PM
- Thursday, June 28, for guard and percussion from 6 PM – 9 PM
If you are not going to be at rehearsal fill out the Online Absence Request Form. Remember – you are expected to be at rehearsal if you are in town!
Please fill out the Online Parent Form and Online Student Form. These forms are for both new and returning students.
Fill out and return the Code of Conduct Form (last page only) and the Student Medical Form.

See you at rehearsal on Tuesday!

Summer Band Rehearsal

The percussion joins the winds and guard tonight, June 19, at rehearsal from 6 pm – 9 pm. Practice on Thursday is for percussion and guard.
