We are looking for volunteers to be a committee chair person in bandstand, fundraising, volunteer and grade parents. Any interest in these positions please email president@carlislehighschoolband.org

Bandstand-oversee the purchase and sale of all bandstand items. Bandstand sells items like sweatshirts, t-shirts, gloves, hats, knit hats, scarfs, buttons and any other ideas that you would like to bring to the BIG green stand.

Fundraising-oversee all fundraising activities. Fundraisers mostly consist of sandwich sales, cheesecakes, etc.

Volunteer-coordinate with the various committee chairpersons to obtain adequate staffing and other needed assistance for the numerous events.

Grade parents-parents to represent the following grades: eighth grade, freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior band parents.

We are asking for your help to come out and clean the football concession stands as football season is right around the corner. Our first home game is September 1, so the concession stands need a deep clean to make sure all the creepy crawly winter and summer bugs are out.

HOME side cleaning = Aug 12 at 8am

AWAY side cleaning = Aug 19 at 8am

Our first home game is September 1! Preseason deep cleaning of the 2 concession stands will be held on August 12 at the Home Side Concession Stand and August 19th for the Away Side Concession Stand.

We are still in need of help at this weekend’s car show Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. This particular show is one of the summer’s biggest. We have a great chance to sell a lot of food as the Saturday afternoon demonstrations and competitions play out! This crowd sticks around for their awards on Sunday too!  It’s easy to sign up.

Remember, we really need to be able to rent those Penske Trucks, to move our kids around to competitions and football games! We need to insure our use of them as well! Please come out and help! We do have fun while we work! Thank you!!

Interested in joining the 2017-2018 CHS Marching Band? Complete the interest form and join us on May 30th from 7-8PM in the high school band room to learn more.

There are 8 car shows scheduled for the Summer of 2017 and we need lots of help! Car shows are the biggest fundraiser for the band! Without profits from the car show, the band boosters would not be able to provide many services to the students. Please consider making time to volunteer and supporting the band.
