October 30th is the second annual Trunk or Treat night for the band! Candy will be passed out at the end of practice to the students and staff as they walk back from the field. Parents may decorate their cars or even dress in costume. Cars should be parked along the road by the band room no later than 8:45 PM. There are 69 kids in the band plus staff, and parents are responsible for providing their own candy. We ask that parents stay until the very end to make sure that all of the kids have received candy. Our next band booster meeting is this Thursday, October 18 at 6 PM in the choir room. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in helping with band. Hope to see you there!

There will be a band booster general membership meeting on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 6 PM in the band area. All band parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.
Monthly Booster Meeting
We will be holding our monthly band booster meeting Tuesday, August 14, at 6:00 pm in the Music room (the old Spanish classroom) across from the color guard lockers. If you have ever wondered how we make everything work, feel free to join us. We would be happy to hear your input and answer any questions that you might have. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Fall Membership Meeting
On Tuesday, August 21, we will be holding our Fall Membership Meeting at 6:00 pm in the Music room (the old Spanish classroom) across from the color guard lockers. We will be voting on this year’s proposed budget. This meeting is open to all band families. Everyone is encouraged to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
Every year the band boosters provide meals during band camp. This year the boosters will be providing meals at 5 PM on the following dates:
- Monday, August 6
- Wednesday, August 8
- Wednesday, August 15
- Thursday, August 16
Help is needed to setup, serve the meal, and cleanup after the meal. We will also need donations of food. Please sign up to help in whatever capacity you can. People helping in the following booster positions are required to have clearances on file with the school district prior to volunteering:

- Uniform Committee
If you are helping as a volunteer in other capacities, at this time you are not required to have clearances. Click here for more information on clearances.
There are several opportunities for parents to get involved in the band booster organization. Current open board positions are fundraising chair, band stand chair, and class reps for grades 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. If you are interested in helping on the board, contact the band booster president at email@example.com.
