Car Show Food Prepping and Deep Fryer Cleaning
Help is needed on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 8 am to prep food for the next car show. We will also be cleaning out the deep fryer. If you haven’t been out to the concession stand yet, this is a great opportunity to learn your way around! Contact Hope at concessions@carlislehighschoolband.org with any questions.
Car show passes will be available at the start and end of practice on Tuesday, July 10. If anyone is not working this car show please return your passes to Hope.
Chrysler Nationals
Our next car show, the Chrysler Nationals, runs from July 13-15, 2018. There are many spots open so please consider signing up and helping out. Information about car show passes and pre-car show prep will be available soon.

CHS Marching Band
It’s not too late to join the marching band! All marching band information can be found on the CHS Marching Band page. There are online forms to fill out, summer rehearsal schedules, and even a trailer for the upcoming marching band show.

Band Booster Facebook Group
If you are on facebook, please join the the new band booster facebook group! This group provides a forum to allow us to connect with one another, ask questions of those who have been around for awhile, and discuss how we can work together to support the students and the band. Join the FB group!
Marching Band Reminders
Just a few reminders to parents and students:
- Practice this week:
- Tuesday, June 26, for everyone from 6 PM – 9 PM
- Thursday, June 28, for guard and percussion from 6 PM – 9 PM
- If you are not going to be at rehearsal fill out the Online Absence Request Form. Remember – you are expected to be at rehearsal if you are in town!
- Please fill out the Online Parent Form and Online Student Form. These forms are for both new and returning students.
- Fill out and return the Code of Conduct Form (last page only) and the Student Medical Form.

Kool Pops!
This year the band will be bringing back the well loved tradition of handing out Kool Pops to students and staff after rehearsals during band camp! But first we need someone to step up and coordinate volunteers and organize the collection of Kool Pops. If you are interested in helping or have any questions, please contact the booster president or secretary.

Helping at a car show is an easy and fun way to help support the band and our band students!
The car
show start tomorrow, and we still have several openings for Saturday as well as many open spots for Sunday! Please consider working a shift. Friends, parents, and alumni are all welcome to come out and help!
Rehearsal Tonight – Update
The rehearsal tonight, June 21 from 6 PM- 9 PM, is only for percussion. This is a change to the original schedule. Sorry for any confusion!
Parent Meeting
There will be a band booster parent meeting on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 6 PM for parents of middle school band students. The meeting will be held in the Spanish room located near the band entrance. Any questions, contact the booster president at president@carlislehighschoolband.org.
