Car Show Concession Help Needed

The spring car show, which runs April 18-22, is quickly approaching and there are still spots left to fill! This is a very busy car show and a huge fundraiser for the band, so please volunteer to help. No experience is needed, and everyone who works earns money for their student’s trip account. Signup to help.

Car show passes will be available Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the booster meeting.

Car Show Cleaning

Volunteers are needed to help clean the car show concession stand on Saturday, April 7 starting at 8 am and on Sunday, April 8 starting at 1 pm. Student credit will be applied to student accounts for everyone who helps. Signup to help!

Anyone who is working the spring car show can pick up car show passes at either of the spring cleaning days.

Car Show Updates

Fairground Concession Season will soon be upon us!  We will be cleaning the fairground stand on March 24 starting at 8 am and again on March 25 starting at 1 pm.  This is a rain or shine event so please dress according to the weather and bring water to drink.  We will also need 2 pressure washers and hoses each day.  Student credit will be given to each volunteer so remember to sign in.
 
Spring Car Show is April 18-22, 2018 A sign up  will be coming soon.  New this year will be the floor in front of the grill.  Also on the sign up you will be able to sign up for a specific job on the front (register, drinks, etc.). We are also adding a sign up slot for the second grill during our busy shows. Students can sign up for the front as well as back prep.  Please make sure you sign up so we know what spots need filled.  Remember the grill spot is extremely critical to the success of the concession stand.  And each griller has their own way of grilling and what works for one griller may not work for the other.

Concessions

We are off to a great football season! If you find that you are waiting in long lines or the wait is a little longer than you prefer please consider coming to volunteer for a couple hours for a home game. The concession stand works more efficiently and faster with more volunteers. The money we are raising from our two concessions stays within the band booster organization and music program.  You can sign to help at the football concessions by emailing Lisa at concessions@carlislehighschoolband.org or by clicking here.

All volunteers remember to wear your closed toe shoes and hat when working in the concessions and there is no entrance fee to the game for those who sign up to help.

Desperate HELP IS NEEDED for the fall car show!  The LAST car show of 2015 begins Wednesday, September 30th. There are several families who are close to student account bonuses please continue to help at the car show and get those last minute student account credits in for our upcoming trip or other needed expenses through the band season. Come out and spend 4 hours helping in our stand and get free entrance and parking into the Fall Car Show!

Keystone Update

IMPORTANT KEYSTONE INFORMATION – VOLUNTEER TEE SHIRT REQUEST DEADLINE IS TUESDAY SEPT 15 FOR ADULTS AND CHS BAND STUDENTS

The 35th Keystone Invitational Marching Band Festival will be Saturday October 24, 2015 at 6:00pm.

To Volunteer:

Step 2: Adults – email rachelmhoch@yahoo.com with your tee shirt size by Sept 15 for a free shirt – or wear a black tee shirt on the night of the festival (students have a place to note their shirt size on their registration).

Step 3: Mark your calendar and please report on time! If you are not given other instructions by a coordinator, please meet at the Band Barn.
