Thanks so much to everyone who has helped with concessions so far this season! We wrapped up at the fairgrounds yesterday, and we only have two home games left at our football concessions. However, we still need lots of help for our last two home games! Please consider helping out either this Friday for the Central Dauphin East game or on October 26 for the Chambersburg game. Band Booster Meeting
Our next band booster meeting has been reschedule to Thursday, October 18, 2018. The meeting will be at 6 PM in the choir room. Everyone is welcome to attend – hope to see you there!
Fundraising Opportunities
Don’t forget that our Five Guys restaurant fundraiser is coming up this week, on Wednesday, October 10. You can stop in and eat anytime between noon and 8 pm. Just bring the flyer or mention the band when you place your order! Click here for more information and to view the flyer.
Also, there is one more week to purchase or sell shopping passes for Boscov’s one day only sale. Shopping passes are $5 each and the band earns the entire $5. For more information click here.
Finally the band will begin selling Pellman’s Desserts as a student fundraiser. Information will be placed in students’ mailboxes on Thursday during rehearsal, and information will be available online on Thursday. View the Pellman Fundraiser letter for more information.

Keystone Invitational
It was an incredible night for our band competition and our band had their best show by far this season with a score of 80.80! WAY TO GO CARLISLE!

Saturday Car Show
We NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FAIRGROUNDS on Saturday during the 11 am – 4 pm shift. This is a VERY BUSY time at the concession stand and we don’t want to have to close in the middle of the lunch rush and lose money! We need front counter people and a cashier. Weekend Updates
If you are available at all on Saturday, we ask that you please consider signing up to help at the car show. We are in desperate need of help for both Saturday shifts! Students can also help during the first shift as practice is not starting until noon. Sign Up Here
If you are not able to help at the car show Saturday (this is our first priority) we are going to be starting with setup at noon for anyone who can come out and help. This is a change to the original schedule, so if you aren’t available, just come out and help when/if you can. Send an email if you have any questions. keystone@carlislehighschoolband.org
If you are helping during the band competition, you can park in the grass area along the road behind the home side concession stand. You will need to enter through the main ticket booth, as the gate near the concession stand will be locked. Make sure you have your wristband. (They can be picked up Thursday before or after practice.)
Concessions Updates
There is a lot going on with concession this week and we still need help for all of it! We are:
- Prepping for the car show on Monday at 6 pm
- Fall car show is Wednesday – Sunday – Sign Up Here
- Keystone Invitational is Saturday – Sign Up Here
Car show passes will be available on Monday during prep, on Tuesday before and after rehearsal, and Thursday before and after rehearsal. All passes must be turned in when finished with them. If you have any questions, contact Hope at concessions@carlislehighschoolband.org.
Marching Band Competition Updates

October 6, 2018 is our next band competition – our home show, the Keystone Invitational! The gates will open at 6 pm and the show will begin at 7 pm. Theme Shirts
