Football season is almost here! We are cleaning the home side concession stand tomorrow, Saturday, August 11 starting at 8 am, and the visitor side on Saturday, August 18. The more people that come out and help, the faster we get the concession stands cleaned. Don’t forget that you earn money into your student’s account for cleaning concessions as well as working football concessions!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our last car show and helped out! The band program wouldn’t be the success it is without the help of our students, parents, alumni, and staff!

Band camp starts this week, and football games start at the end of the month. This is a very busy time of year, and the band NEEDS YOUR HELP! There are opportunities to serve food, chaperone football games, help in concessions, and hand out Kool Pops. For a complete list of volunteer opportunities, please visit our Help Wanted page. Along with cleaning the football concession stands, we also need people to sign up to work concessions! These signups are now available. Don’t forget when you work in the concessions, whether it is car show, cleaning, or football games, you always earn money into your student’s trip account. Football season is almost here, and to get ready we need to clean our concession stands! We need volunteers to help clean and we need two pressure washers (with hoses) for each cleaning date. Volunteers may bring buckets, gloves and sponges if they would like, but this is not a requirement. You must bring your own water to drink if you are coming to help!
Every year the band boosters provide meals during band camp. This year the boosters will be providing meals at 5 PM on the following dates:
Help is needed to setup, serve the meal, and cleanup after the meal. We will also need donations of food. Please sign up to help in whatever capacity you can. Do you want to help support the CHS band program and have lots of fun at the same time? Come out to the fairgrounds and work a shift or two at the Truck Nationals! This is an easy and fun way to support our band students – but we can’t do it without YOUR HELP!
