There will be a band booster general membership meeting on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 6 PM in the band area. All band parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.
Food Prep
Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, August 21 at 6 PM at the fairgrounds to prep food for the Corvette Show. If you need car show passes, you can also pick them up at the fairgrounds on Tuesday. Any questions, contact Hope at concessions@carlislehighschoolband.org.
Corvette Show

Football Concessions Cleaning
We are cleaning the visitor side football concession stand this Saturday, August 18, 2018, starting at 8 am. Please consider coming out and helping. You can earn money into a student account, while having fun getting to know the other band parents. Sign Up Here!
Keystone Invitational Volunteer Opportunities
Signups are now available for our band competition, the Keystone Invitational. We need every family to pitch in and help make our show EXCELLENT! Keystone Trophy Sponsorship
Band students and families now have the opportunity to sponsor a trophy for the Keystone Invitational. In the past we have had seniors, sections, or friends sponsor or co-sponsor one of these awards. Sponsorship is $50 per trophy, and trophy sponsors:
- Have their name(s) printed in the program book
- Are recognized by the announcer during the award ceremony
- Can present or choose an individual to present the award
Please fill out the Trophy Sponsorship Form and turn it into the drum major box, band office, or to Heather Kronheim no later than 9/15/2018. If you have any questions contact Heather at keystone@carlislehighschoolband.org.
Keystone Program Ads
Students and parents – there are still many businesses available to which ads can be sold. Please view the business listing and fill out the online form. All information is on the Members Only page. Corvette Show
Coming up next at the fairgrounds is the Corvette Show, running from August 23-26, 2
018. We still need lots of help, so please consider signing up to help.
We will be prepping for the car show on Tuesday, August 21 at 6 pm at the fairgrounds.
Passes can be picked up at the following times:
- Tuesday, August 14, 6 pm at the booster meeting
- Thursday, August 16, 7:45 pm at the 2018 CHS Marching Band Preview
- Saturday, August 18, 8 am at the visitor side football concession cleaning
- Tuesday, August 21, 6 pm at the fairgrounds for food prep

Chaperones
Don’t miss the bus – sign up to be a chaperone NOW!
The band is looking for chaperones to help at all of our home and away football games, as well as at parades and competitions. All chaperones must have clearances on file with the school district prior to helping. This is a great opportunity to really get to know the students and staff, so please consider signing up to help. Monthly Booster Meeting
We will be holding our monthly band booster meeting Tuesday, August 14, at 6:00 pm in the Music room (the old Spanish classroom) across from the color guard lockers. If you have ever wondered how we make everything work, feel free to join us. We would be happy to hear your input and answer any questions that you might have. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Fall Membership Meeting
On Tuesday, August 21, we will be holding our Fall Membership Meeting at 6:00 pm in the Music room (the old Spanish classroom) across from the color guard lockers. We will be voting on this year’s proposed budget. This meeting is open to all band families. Everyone is encouraged to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
