Car Show Season Starts Soon!

Car show concessions generate our largest source of income and are a crucial part of supporting our marching band and music programs! Our first car show, Spring Carlisle, is April 24-28, 2019. No experience is needed for many jobs, and everyone who works earns money into a student account to help offset the cost of the band trip (and this is a TRIP YEAR)! This is a really busy show, so please help out and sign up for a shift or two.

Help is also needed cleaning our freezers on March 30, cleaning our concession stand on April 7, and doing pre-car show prep on April 22.

All signups and more information can be found on the Car Show Concessions page. If you have any questions contact our Concessions Committee at

Concessions Committee Chair(s) Needed

The Concession Committee is looking for one or two volunteers to run the Fairgrounds concession stand, and one or two volunteers to run the Football Stadium concession stands. These volunteers would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the stands. They would make sure that inventory is ordered as needed and stock is rotated. These stands are the band booster’s main source of income for marching band, indoor guard, and indoor percussion. Keeping them running is vital to this organization. Interested persons should contact the former concession committee chair Hope Sale at

The concession committee would like to have a meeting with anyone interested in helping immediately after the February band booster meeting.

Concessions Committee Co-Chairs NEEDED

The concession committee is looking for 2-3 individuals to co-chair the concession committee and run the car show and football concession stands starting with the Spring Carlisle in April of 2019. Concessions brings in most of our money for funding our band programs, so we MUST HAVE people to run our concession stands.

Individuals will need to complete the required online serve safe course that takes about 3 hours to complete. They will be responsible for the up keep of the concession stands, and responsible for maintaining inventory.

Our current committee chair Hope Sale, will NOT be running concessions next year, but she will be available to mentor and assist for the end of this school year and during the 2019-2020 school year.

Just a reminder that we NEED HELP in our concessions stands this Friday. This is our last home game, so please sign up to help.

Thanks so much to everyone who has helped with concessions so far this season! We wrapped up at the fairgrounds yesterday, and we only have two home games left at our football concessions. However, we still need lots of help for our last two home games! Please consider helping out either this Friday for the Central Dauphin East game or on October 26 for the Chambersburg game. View signups and more information. Thanks in advance for your help!

Weekend Updates

If you are available at all on Saturday, we ask that you please consider signing up to help at the car show. We are in desperate need of help for both Saturday shifts! Students can also help during the first shift as practice is not starting until noon. Sign Up Here

If you are not able to help at the car show Saturday (this is our first priority) we are going to be starting with setup at noon for anyone who can come out and help. This is a change to the original schedule, so if you aren’t available, just come out and help when/if you can. Send an email if you have any questions.

There are a few food items that still need to be donated. One is cases of water, which was just added to the list today. Please consider donating. Sign Up Here

If you are helping during the band competition, you can park in the grass area along the road behind the home side concession stand. You will need to enter through the main ticket booth, as the gate near the concession stand will be locked. Make sure you have your wristband. (They can be picked up Thursday before or after practice.)
